Meet Santa! Special Accommodation Plans

In addition to the regular accommodation plans that are available throughout the year, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offers a series of special plans for the holiday season.

Christmas Stay with Santa is a plan that we recommend especially, though not exclusively, to guests who want to surprise their children for Christmas. This plan includes a meeting with Santa Claus in the hotel chapel, a present from him, and a commemorative photo. (*The gift should be prepared in advance and left at the hotel until the day of the meeting with Santa.)

Breakfast at one of the hotel restaurants is included, as well as a Christmas cake (strawberry shortcake) brought to your room. Please note that this plan is available only for the dates of December 18, 19, 24, and 25. As this is a very popular holiday stay plan, it tends to sell out soon after its release. For those interested in booking this plan, please note that only a few rooms may be available.

Thanks to You – Holiday Special is a stay plan that can be enjoyed through December 29, 2021. Ideal for anniversaries and other special occasions, it includes a small flower bouquet, dried fruit snacks, and a bottle of sparkling wine in the room.

Premium In-Room Dinner – Christmas version is ideal for guests who wish to enjoy a luxurious dinner privately in a room with a view of the Tokyo Sea of Clouds and Forest Aurora. 

The menu includes exquisite champagne, as well as Kiwami Gâteau aux Fraises, the strawberry shortcake made by the hotel’s patissier that sold out soon after being released for orders from the public.

Please note that this is an exclusive plan available only for December 17, 18, 24, and 25. If you’d like to enjoy blissful dinner moments with your significant other, this might just be the ideal holiday surprise!

Guests who would like to enjoy refined kaiseki cuisine in the tranquility of their rooms along with a splendid view of the garden can choose the plan Tokyo Fuuga – Ryotei Kinsui Cuisine in the Room. The Suite rooms available for this plan are very spacious and can easily accommodate a family of 3 or more.  Dinner and breakfast are both included. The menu consists of exquisite Kyoto-style kaiseki cuisine that allows guests to enjoy seasonal flavors through refined Japanese dishes. 

Christmas Market Atmosphere! Year-End Dinner Buffet with Special Dessert Corner

The Year-End Dinner Buffet is a special event that can be enjoyed by both visitors and staying guests until December 28, 2021. The extensive menu features dishes from Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines such as Peking duck (*available with ticket purchase), sirloin roast beef, and amberjack shabu shabu. Some of the dishes are cooked on the spot by the hotel’s chefs; their performance adds an element of entertainment  to the event.

A corner of the venue is reserved for desserts! This corner is decorated to look like a Christmas Market. The popular Yule log-shaped cakes, German-style Stollen fruit bread, British Christmas pudding, fir tree-shaped Mont Blanc, as well as the key to Japanese Christmas, strawberry shortcake, are just some of the highlights.

The magnificent Forest Aurora and the Tokyo Sea of Clouds are shown in Chinzanso Garden in the evening hours. Turn your visit into a truly special event by enjoying the garden views along with the Year-End Dinner Buffet.

Special Holiday Menus at the Hotel Restaurants

In addition to their regular menus, the restaurants within Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offer special holiday menus that can only be enjoyed this December.

The Christmas Lunch menu available at the Italian restaurant Il Teatro is a great choice if you wish to enjoy a flavorful meal that transports you to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The menu includes crab and vegetable salad with caviar and cauliflower panna cotta, a refined pasta dish, risotto, Japanese Black beef fillet grilled Italian-style, dessert, and tea or coffee. 

The elegant interior of Il Teatro, with its Venetian glass chandelier, is the perfect atmosphere for a special lunch rendezvous.

Il Teatro also offers a special Christmas dinner course only during the week between December 19 and 25. We warmly recommend this course to visitors who wish to enjoy a relaxing dinner by candlelight that evokes images of Venice and the Mediterranean.

At the casual dining restaurant The Bistro, guests can enjoy Taste of Winter, a delectable French course featuring seasonal flavors. The menu includes an aperitif with scallops and Omar shrimp, flavorful turnip potage soup, Bouillabaisse seafood stew, roasted duck, dessert, and hot beverages. The Taste of Winter course is available for both lunch and dinner. 

From December 19 through the 25th, The Bistro offers the Christmas Specialty dinner menu, which consists of French dishes.　This course is ideal for guests seeking a dinner option that is both casual and refined.

The Holiday Afternoon Tea offered at lobby lounge Le Jardin consists of sweet and savory dishes with flavors and presentations that reflect the Christmas holidays. The menu includes sea of clouds-inspired macaroons, tarts, rolled sandwiches with heart-shaped decorations, as well as scones and crab cream risotto. 

A feast for the eyes and the palate, this gorgeous afternoon tea menu tends to sell out fast so do consider booking well in advance. The Holiday Afternoon Tea is available until January 10, 2022.
