Tokyo Sea Life Park
The glass-dome aquarium exhibits 39,000 organisms of 530 species from around the world. Its aim is to create aquatic habitats in Tokyo and around the world.
Epson Shinagawa Aqua Stadium
Although not very big in scale, this is one of the newest aquariums in Tokyo, where you can meet penguins, ocean sunfish and other marine life from the world’s oceans (about 20,000 organisms of 300 species). The main attraction is the dynamic dolphin performances.
At Shinagawa Aquarium, 2,500 organisms of 100 species swim around in schools in a giant 500-ton tank. Taking a walk in the 22-meter undersea tunnel and observing the sea creatures from a 180-degree perspective is an unforgettable experience.
Sunshine Aquarium is on the tenth floor of the World Import Mart building in Ikebukuro, located just 12 minutes away by taxi.
